Please arrive for your onsite massage appointment on time but not early.

If late arrival is inevitable, your massage will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No full or partial refunds will be given.

Please note that there are a few steps leading up to my massage cabin, so if mobility will make this hard for you please let me know prior to your visit.

Clients must provide 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule, cancel, or modify your appointment.  If you fail to cancel or modify your appointment prior to 48 hours before your massage appointment, but you give more than 24 hours’ notice, I reserve the right to charge 50%. 

Cancellations or appointment modifications with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full fee for the massage booked

However, I aim to be amenable whenever I can.

l regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled massage appointments. In special cases, and when my schedule will allow, l may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at my discretion. 

 Clients who fail to show for massage appointments will be charged the full amount for the massage booked. It is important for all my clients that we stick to time slots. 

Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with me, you will receive a free consultation, as this point, it is you (the clients) responsibility to disclose to me (the therapist) any medical conditions. On future visits, any changes in medical conditions must be disclosed for your own safety.

I will always hold and display an up to date first aid certificate for massage therapists. But reserve the right to call for the emergency services in an emergency.

I am a fully insured and qualified to above the industry standards for professionals. Trained by and a member of the Massage Training Institute, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.

Massage therapists do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. I am required to recommend you see you GP for diagnosis and treatment if I feel it is needed

EXISTING AND NEW MEDICAL CONDITIONS

It is the responsibility of the client to keep me the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment and/or medication currently being taken, medical conditions and to provide written permission from the GP, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued if needed.
The client must also keep me the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

RESPECT FOR CLIENT NEEDS AND BOUNDARIES

I am happy to adjust pressure, musical volume, temperature, work longer on an area or move on if you request it. I am happy to change from the massage plan ones we have started the massage.

The client may choose to refuse any massage methods, stop massage at any time, and is free to leave.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be taken very seriously, and may be reported to the proper authorities under the guidelines for massage therapists. Client will not be rescheduled if this occurs.

The genital and nipple area will not be massaged under any circumstances. A professional distance will be maintained from these areas. And appropriate covering will be used.

Treatment of children under the age of 16, must be carried out with the parents or guardian present.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONVERSATION

The discussion between myself the massage therapist and you the client is confidential. Nothing said during the consultation or massage will be repeated by me, unless bound by law to so. Clients may or may not choose to talk during the massage, and this will be respected.

I am happy to listen to your conversation and share communications. But I prefer not to discuss topics of a political or private nature.

No matter your race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, sex, disability’s etc. you will be treated equally, treated as such and very much respected by myself.
